How Does Penis Enlargement Work?
Penis enlargement works based on the same principle as muscle building for other parts of your body. When the tissues of the corpus spongiosum and corpus cavernosa in the penis (see the Interior Anatomy of the Penis image above) are subjected to stretching, micro-tears occur. This then facilitates new cell growth to repair those tears, the same happens when you build muscle tissue in other places in your body.
Think of the penis like a brick wall. If you were pulled apart the courses of bricks and then filled the space between with new bricks, your wall would increase in size. New cell growth works the same way in your body, filling in the spaces with new cells. This results in an increase in mass as well as overall size and volume.
There are countless examples of the body’s amazing ability to stretch and grow. From native customs involving the insertion of ever-greater lip plates to the neck rings used by women of the Paduang tribe in Burma, to the popular practice of gauging ears. Your penis is no different. This new cell growth means increased penis length and increased penis girth.

Penis Enlargement Exercises
Penis enlargement exercises are a natural form of penis enlargement, and one of the most effective methods. They, along with exercise equipment, are our most recommended forms of penis enlargement, due to the safety disadvantages and/or lesser results sometimes seen with surgery and supplements.
Oftentimes, the other methods are combined with exercise routines, such as taking supplements and exercising, to maximize your enlargement results. However, ultimately the safest, most reliable and permanent way to gain growth is to focus on exercising. For example, like in fitness, 80% of your body composition (% body fat) comes from your diet, probably 95% of your penis length and girth gains comes from stretching exercises.

How Penis Enlargement Exercises Work
Exercises work by either contracting to strengthen the muscles (Kegels), applying traction (stretches), or forcing nutrient-rich blood into the penis (jelqs), to stimulate growth. The single biggest advantage of exercises is that penis enlargement exercises do not require any special equipment other than you, time and a suitable place to exercise (probably not the bathroom at work). This may be easily suitable for some, but if not, you need to either make time or sacrifice something if you place increasing penis size as a higher priority in your life.
Common Types of Penis Enlargement Exercises
Penis exercises come in many forms. The most common and well-known ones are:
  • Jelqing
  • Kegels
  • Compression
  • Stretching
Jelqing
Jelqing is a basic exercise, which uses a firm, stroking motion to force nutrient-rich blood into the penis, while also stretching it, to increase size. This is a simple, but effective, four-step exercise, performed while the penis is at a 50-75% erection level (higher erection levels can be used by more advanced exercisers). The four-steps include:
  • Form an OK-grip with your index finger and thumb, around the base of your penis.
  • With a light pressure, slowly slide your grip up the shaft of the penis.
  • Stop just before the glans.
  • Repeat and point your penis at different angles and start your OK-grip at different angles. Also use your other hand to get different angles that are hard to do with the other hand.
Stretching
Stretching is the best exercise to increase length. As mentioned earlier, stretching the penis puts stress on the tissues creating micro-tears. As new tissue grows, filling in the space created by the tears, the penis will grow in terms of length and girth. While compression targets girth, Stretching exercises tend to target and achieve length gains.
However, you never want to stretch so hard such that it becomes painful. Be sure to start off easy (warm-up), then gradually increase your intensity over the course of your exercise regimen. A beginner may need to start off even easier than a veteran. Eventually, they can reach the level of a veteran such that they can handle tougher stretching. This is exactly like bodybuilding and lifting weights. You don’t want to overlift or lift too much.
To manually stretch, grip the base of your glans (at the top of your shaft) and pull and hold your penis in a given direction for a few seconds to a minute. Stretching can be performed in multiple directions:
  • Straight out away from the body – This stretch is perfect as a general length exercise.
  • To the left or right – Stretching to the left or right is useful when correcting a penis curve, which is typically a result of Peyronies’ Disease.
  • Downward or upward – Stretching down or up places the tension on the upper or lower part of the shaft (respectively).
